General Manager Appointed for Marriott Vacation Club's Newest Resort
ORLANDO, Fla. - March 16, 2010 - Marriott Vacation Club, the premier timeshare brand of Marriott International, Inc., has promoted and appointed James Hall to general manager of Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve at Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla.
Located on the picturesque grounds of Grande Lakes Orlando, Hall is now responsible for Marriott Vacation Club's newest resort, and the first-ever to be co-located on a campus with a JW Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton. Scheduled to open in June 2010, the first phase of Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve will include 85 (out of a proposed 340 upon build-out) perfectly appointed two- and three-bedroom villas as well as two- and three-bedroom two-story townhomes. Each villa and townhome boasts a fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances; spacious living and dining areas; oversized shower in the master suite; multiple flat-panel televisions and DVD players; washer/dryer and wireless internet access. Two-bedroom villas and townhomes can accommodate up to 8 guests, while three-bedroom villas and townhomes can accommodate up to 12 guests.
Hall began his career with Marriott in 1987 at the Irvine Marriott in Irvine, Calif. Over the next ten years, he served in various roles including front desk manager, director of services, director of room operations and event manager at notable Marriott Hotels & Resorts including the New York Marriott Marquis in New York, N.Y., and the Orlando World Center Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Hall joined Marriott Vacation Club in 2006 and in his most recent role, held the position of director of operations for Marriott's Cypress Harbour in Orlando, Fla. His responsibilities included overseeing housekeeping, front office, activities, and food and beverage departments.

A native of Southern California, Hall currently resides in Windermere, Fla. with his wife Tanya and children Nicholas, Isabella and Elizabeth.
